Ross Blair is an artist born and based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Experienced across a number of mediums, Ross’ work includes mural art, illustrations & hand drawn animation, large scale projection & lighting installations and motion-controlled projection. He specialises in the application of these creative mediums to create unique and immersive spaces.

His Street Art work looks at Modern Portraiture , Social Commentary & Awareness in the Form of Murals & Street Propaganda.

Alongside his art, Ross has worked for 25 years in the technical events industry as a Creative & Technical Consultant, developing Multimedia visual solutions for clients around the world. These commissions fuse his passion for art with his creative and technical knowledge for the music, drinks, retail and professional service industries.

Ross’ work has recently received global attention as UK Prime Minister Boris Johnston gifted a photograph of Ross’ mural of Frederick Douglass, a leading figure in the abolitionist movement, to US President Joe Biden. Ross is thrilled to not only receive this international recognition of his work but to have helped raise awareness of someone who was a hidden historical hero to many.
